Again the bulk of our morning training was Hapkido review. After breakfast we went back to Hapkido to finish our review of the technique. Once we reviewed all our Hapkido we got to watch Master Jim test for his 7th Degree (Dan)in Taekwondo. He did pretty good, however
with these
High Dan tests, you don't find out immediately if you pass. It takes about 2-3 months to hear back. So hopefully soon we will get word that he passed.
Then Master Jim got to rest and watch us test for Hapkido. The test went very well. My last technique didn't go quite perfectly since I had to "muscle" my attacker over my back, which didn't allow him to land very well and hence he didn't bounce up too quickly. I think he gave me a little smirk/look too. Oops, sorry. Mian Hamnida!
After our successful testing, GGM Soon Bae Kim liked having dinner with us so we invited him, President Kim and Master Sang Ki Lee for a good bulgogi dinner. Finally after dinner we headed back to the hotel for a nap and to pack.
