Usual training in the morning with various techniques we've never seen. One in particular, Dap Chagi blocking was kinda fun. Basically blocking a front kick with your foot before it gets above knee level. Ryan and I were working together on this one and I can honestly say I've never had more fun bashing my shins. I mean it hurt and was sore but maybe it was the adrenaline cause it was fun! Luckily, I had some bruises to remind me of the fun for the rest of the trip. At least it was a souvenir I didn't have to pack!
After breakfast we trained at the World TaeKwonDo Instructors Academy. We covered patterns and international referee rules. Next we went looking for a temple (I think..?) and GM Yun told us all to get out of the van and we just started running. During our jog, we heard some dogs barking and GM Yun asked Lyndsay, what that noise was. I think she said dogs, and GM Yun replied "sounds like lunch." It was pretty funny but at the same time you really just had to wonder.....is that really our next meal?!? Remember....expect the unexpected!
Eventually we ended up at Pizza Hut. Yes, Pizza Hut. Surprisingly just like he told us, their pizza is better there than here. We had tons of pizza, wings and spaghetti. If you weren't full, you were lying! I think everyone stopped eating like 5 times because they were full until he told us to eat more in which we ate.
